A Public Declaration of Faith in Jesus
Water Baptism is an important step of obedience that shows others we have personally trusted Jesus for our salvation. When we are water baptized, we are submerged under water to identify with Jesus's death and burial and raised out of the water to identify with His resurrection.
“And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Act 2:38
We believe that water baptism is a public declaration of three important things: you are a follower of Jesus Christ, you are beginning a changed life in Christ, and you are a part of a new family.
