Our selection changes based on food deliveries, donations, and availability. Depending on what is available, shoppers and pantry guests may find:
Canned and packaged pantry staples
Grains, pasta, and other dry goods
Canned fruits and vegetables
Canned and shelf-stable proteins
Shelf-stable milk and other grocery items
Frozen foods
Fresh produce
Personal hygiene items
Household items
Fresh produce and frozen foods are available when donations and supply allow. Because inventory changes frequently, we cannot guarantee that a particular item will be available on every visit.

Much of the food available at Ocean State Food Pantry comes through our partnership with FeedRI.
FeedRI, formerly known as We Share Hope, is a Rhode Island-based nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting food insecurity. Since 2008, FeedRI has worked to rescue surplus food from food-industry partners and safely redirect it to individuals, families, and communities throughout Rhode Island.
Through FeedRI’s Pantry Program, we receive quality pantry staples as well as rescued food donations from local retail partners when available.
Our partnership with FeedRI helps us provide more food to our community while keeping good food from going to waste.
